Look at this beautiful advertisement for Sheldon Hill.  My model, Caroline Ava, was having a real photo shoot for Cornell University's Thread fashion magazine.  I took this highly fortunate shot with my iphone over the photographer's shoulder!  This ad campaign is designed to evoke the feeling of what Sheldon Hill is about:  vintage elegance!!  Look for this ad in the Ithaca Journal.  Ms. Ava will also be featured on page 1 of the fall issue of Thread due out by December 15th. 

I'd like to give a big "thank you" to the Ithaca community and those who chose to patronize downtown Ithaca for Black Friday and the weekend that followed.  It was so encouraging to see so many people on our beautiful and unique Ithaca Commons these past few days.  Sheldon Hill's showcases are brimming with fantastic and affordable vintage and estate jewelry.  We are ready for holiday shoppers!!  Whether you are looking for a delicate sterling silver pendant, a one of a kind vintage beauty, or a pair of gold hoops, Sheldon Hill will not disappoint this holiday season.  I have been traveling to shops, shows, and estate sales for months and much of what I am putting out each day is completely fresh merchandise.  I have recently opened an Etsy store (etsy.com) and will be listing items through Christmas and over the winter.  If you like Sheldon Hill, but don't like shopping in blustery weather,  check out my new Etsy store. 

 

The schools are closed...some roads are flooded, but Sheldon Hill will be open for business today.  I hear that the route to downtown will be challenging since there is flooding on Floral Avenue (13A) and Route 13 near Buttermilk Falls.  The best route to downtown from the north will be 96.  On your way, make sure to stop at Ithaca Antique Center.  They are warm, dry and open for business!!  Give the IAC a call at 607-272-3611 and say hello to Andri.
